Cara Nord is a young winery created by the owner of Tomas Cusines, Xavier Cepero and Eric Solomon. The winery located above 700M, also facing North. The result of this high-attitude wine is fresh and light body wine with balanced acidity, not a usual Spain wine you have tasted. In the vineyard, they use sustainable dry farming, vegetation cover, and responsible mountain viticulture, together with Minimal intervention which prioritizes biodiversity.
Garrut (Monastrell) is an indigenous grape variety in Spain. Manual harvest. After fermentation, the wine aged six months in amphora of 500 L and a half in once-used French oak casks of 500 L.
On the nose, it is Intense with red fruit, blackberries, and a hint of menthol fennel. On the plate is black fruit, intense but still fresh and prolonged after taste.
