This wine is unique in many aspects. First, the vineyard is north facing and located at a high altitude (800M above sea level), which means exposure to the sun during the day is shorter than in other vineyards and cooler at night. This microclimate results from the grapes' delay in ripening and retaining more acidity. The wine will remain fresh and lighter. By the way, Cara Nord means facing north in Catalan. Second, the grape Trepat is indigenous to Conca de Barberà. This local grape variety makes rose wine due to its aromatic character.
