Description

Geol is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cariñena and aged 14 months in new French oak barrels. As Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are typical grapes in Bordeaux, maybe you will expect high tannin that normally found in young Bordeaux wine. But you don't. It soft in tannin and medium in the body make it more approachable even young. Moreover, the Mediterranean grapes, Cariñena, give the wine a character - a spirit of Spanish wine.

Deep red cherry color. On the nose, you will find herbal, black chocolate, balsamic and black currants with elegant and sweet wood. A wide and silky entrance, with rounded tannins, powerful, deep, and persistent aftertaste in the mouth. This wine can be enjoyed now or keep for few years.

I don't mind drinking this wine with any type of food. It is so good.
