La Báscula is a Spanish wine project created by Englishman Ed Adams MW and South African winemaker Bruce Jack to showcase the potential of local grape varieties in the different wine regions. The wines in the range have intrinsic balance; there is a balance between indigenous Spanish varieties and modern winemaking.
This white wine is blended with Garnacha Blanca 70% Viognier 20% Roussanne 10% which Viognier and Roussane is originally a Rhone, France grape variety. Cool fermented in stainless steel, the result is an aromatic, peachy white wine with refreshing acidity and a rich texture. The wine is perfect now and will also age well for at least 2 years.
Vintage 2017 currently awards Wine from Spain Award 2018.
