This wine is a blend of Garnatxa Negra, Carinyena from vines averaging 70 years. Aged 12 months in new French Allier Oak casks.
The nose displays lot of balsamic aromas, wood and Mediterranean herbs on top of ripe black fruit. Very Priorat style red wine. The palate shows good balance on fruit and acidity, with very fine tannins, with persistent flavours and a long aftertaste.
This wine has more intense flavours on plalate then FA206 suggesting from the old vines. I will pair this wine with roasted Iberico pork rack with paprika and mix herb.
