Description

Here's a description of an expressive and powerful wine, made from a blend of 45% Xarel.lo, 40% Macabeo, 12% Parellada and 3% Malvasía de Sitges grapes. The Malvasía de Sitges is used to add freshness and acidity to the wine. It is aged sur lie for at least 18 months, but sometimes longer, as indicated by the disgorgement date on the back label. Despite its affordable price, this wine is rich and complex, with a deliciously salty taste. This wine is now the flagship wine of the winery, showcasing its depth, freshness and complexity.

They exclusively offer certified organic wines and they also implement biodynamic practices (though only their vineyards are certified). They adapt their level of dryness based on the particular vintage. Recently, they celebrated their 150th anniversary and marked the occasion by releasing a limited edition case of library wines, which includes one bottle each from 1985 and 1986. Their yearly production is approximately 500,000 bottles.
